When this gem is linked to a skill, the user is treated as if they have the keystone Blood Magic for this skill only.

The mana cost of any skill supported by this gem will be paid with life instead of mana. Supported skills that reserve mana will instead reserve life. This means it is possible for a player to kill themself when paying for a skill.

The mana cost will still be calculated normally - reduced Mana Cost and other similar modifiers will still apply, but the resulting cost will be paid with life.
